Description

This stunning specimen features a cut base showcasing a layered matrix. Beginning with basalt, the layers progress to a thin band of agate, followed by orange jasper and then very dark green jasper. A soft-toned, double-layered amethyst crystallization caps the formation, with crystals adding luster and color. The dark, almost black jasper peeks through the amethyst crystals. The piece is accompanied by an impressive stalactite formation covering much of the surface, with one stalactite forming a bridge with two contacts in the druzy cluster.
