Description

Hand-carved from a solid, closed base, this piece opens into a geode cavity. The matrix displays a succession of layers: a thin layer of agate grows on basalt, followed by jaspers in brown, reddish, and orange tones that give way to a green jasper. Above this, a delicate amethyst crystallization forms, showcasing its own soft color while still revealing the underlying jasper tone. The piece is crowned by a large, intact, clear and transparent calcite crystal, allowing a view of its interior.
