Yellow Calcite Pseudomorph Crystal Piece

This hand-carved, medium-sized sculpture is composed entirely of crystal, with no basalt matrix behind. Transparent quartz crystals on top allow the matrix to be visible, giving the piece a soft luster. A semicavity within the piece contains a medium-sized, opaque yellow calcite with some chipping, and the piece is undamaged overall.
