This stunning piece features a tall, self-standing amethyst formation with crystals set against a lavender background, still attached to its natural volcanic basalt matrix. It is accompanied by a multigenerational calcite, which is incomplete. The calcite has two distinct generations: the first is transparent, allowing its interior to be visible with a sugar-like coating; the second is opaque and full-bodied with black inclusions, covered in crystallization.
