Description

This polished amethyst egg, known as a 'rainbow' type, features crystals set against a pink background. It retains its volcanic basalt matrix. The shell of the egg has a thin layer of jasper from the inside out. What makes this piece unique is the presence of a complete, single-generation calcite crystal with all its faces intact. This transparent calcite allows for a view of its interior, which contains a phantom and black inclusions.
