Description

This unique piece features a hand-carved closed base, showcasing multiple mineral formations. The basalt matrix, visible at the base, displays white and gray banded agate. A young, early amethyst crystallization formed first, later replaced or covered by transparent quartz. The quartz allows for a clear view of the calcite growths, contrasting with red, yellow, and orange-covered calcites. A soft gray druzy cluster adds subtle shine. At the base, a small, white, opaque, intact calcite specimen is present, with a possible pseudomorph visible on one side. The piece is undamaged.
