Calcite with Amethyst and Jasper Matrix

This unique collectible piece features a striking combination of minerals. A transparent, cubic calcite crystal, approximately half the size of the specimen, stands prominently upright, retaining all its sharp edges. The calcite has inclusions of black material and is partially coated with a black and red mineral deposit. Below, a small, closed-base geode of jasper matrix, set against the basalt, provides a distinctive colored base. Above, a medium-luster, intense gray amethyst druzy cluster grows, complementing the calcite and matrix. The piece is undamaged and presented on a stand.
