Calcite with Jaspers and Basalt Matrix

This unique, hand-carved piece features a large, intact, white calcite crystal rising vertically from a small, closed-base, self-standing cut base. The calcite is semi-transparent, displaying phantom inclusions and colorful internal formations, along with a red and black coating. One side of the crystal may exhibit a pseudomorph. The dark, smooth druzy cluster provides a striking contrast to the calcite. The base reveals a matrix of basalt, with visible jaspers in reddish, brown, and terracotta tones peeking through the crystallization. A collector's item suitable for decorative display, this piece is undamaged and in excellent condition, presented on a cut base.
