Calcite with Amethyst and Agate Matrix

This collectible piece features a small, closed-base geode cut to showcase its vibrant matrix. The base, a basalt, provides a stunning contrast to the pink, orange, and reddish jaspe that surrounds a striking double crystallization of transparent, intense rose-colored amethyst with pink reflections. The druzy amethyst cluster has a high luster, allowing the matrix to be visible beneath. Two intact, medium-sized calcite crystals accompany the amethyst: one rises centrally, while the other nestles in a semicavity. Both calcites are colorless, semitransparent, and have well-formed points with black inclusions; the central calcite also has additional dark inclusions and a black coating. The piece is undamaged and presented on a stand.
